How to treat solar dermatitis?
For photodermatitis, treatment mainly involves the use of antiallergic medications, and topical application of corticosteroid drugs such as hydrocortisone butyrate cream or fluticasone propionate ointment. If blisters and obvious exudation occur, boric acid solution or saline solution can also be used for wet compresses to reduce exudation. Oral antihistamine medications, such as chlorpheniramine maleate tablets or ketotifen fumarate tablets, can also be used in conjunction with the treatment of photodermatitis, which primarily involves the use of antiallergic and anti-itch medications. Photodermatitis mainly occurs due to excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays, therefore, it is essential to avoid direct sunlight, take sun protection measures when going out, and regularly exercise to boost the body's immune system, which can effectively improve an allergic constitution.

How to treat itchy scalp and hair loss?
Itchy scalp and hair loss are commonly caused by seborrheic dermatitis. Initially, treatment should aim to control the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis. Under the guidance of a doctor, oral treatments such as ebastine tablets, ipristine capsules, or levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets may be used. For topical treatment, halcinonide solution can be applied. If there is an excess of oil and dandruff, selenium sulfide can be used for shampooing. By controlling seborrheic dermatitis, significant improvement can be seen in hair loss and scalp itchiness. Another scenario involves scalp itchiness accompanied by hair loss, which may be caused by a fungal infection leading to tinea capitis. Under the guidance of a doctor, ketoconazole shampoo can be used for washing the hair, and terbinafine hydrochloride spray can be applied locally for treatment.

Is it normal for papular urticaria to be neither painful nor itchy?
Papular urticaria is neither painful nor itchy and is also considered normal. The occurrence of papular urticaria, which is neither painful nor itchy, is related to the consumption of some anti-allergic drugs, and also due to a mild allergic reaction to external factors. It also has something to do with individual physical constitution. Papular urticaria generally results from allergic reactions caused by bites from mites, fleas, mosquitoes, and other such pests. Most people will experience obvious itching, and some may also feel pain in addition to the itching. For cases of papular urticaria, patients can apply anti-allergic medications under the guidance of a doctor. Common choices include desonide ointment or fluticasone propionate ointment for itching, often in combination with oral antihistamines such as cetirizine tablets. (Under medical guidance for medication use)

Can I apply corn plaster if the corn has burst?
If a corn has broken open, you should not continue to apply corn plaster to it, as the plaster is somewhat corrosive. Since the skin of the corn has already been damaged, you should not use this medicated plaster until the skin has healed. Corns typically develop on the skin due to prolonged friction and pressure on the foot skin. Wearing ill-fitting shoes for a long period, or having deformed feet or toes, can also lead to the development of corns. If you have a corn, you can apply corn plaster locally, or visit a formal hospital to receive treatments such as cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen or using a carbon dioxide laser. If the corn has broken open, pay attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of the foot to prevent further infection. You can apply iodine locally for disinfection.

How to deal with heat rash that doesn't itch?
If prickle heat appears without itching, you can apply some Calamine Lotion locally. If the symptoms are not severe, you may not need any special treatment. Wear loose and breathable clothing, avoid excessive sweating, keep indoor air circulating, avoid direct sunlight, refrain from intense physical activities, drink plenty of water, and using foods that clear heat, cool the blood, and detoxify can also lead to significant improvement. Prickle heat usually occurs due to high temperatures, high humidity, and excessive sweating. Whether prickle heat causes itching varies from person to person; some people feel very itchy, whereas others do not show any symptoms, such as when white heat rash occurs, usually there are no noticeable symptoms. If prickle heat is accompanied by itching, treatment under the guidance of a doctor with antihistamine drugs may be necessary.

Can tinea capitis heal by itself?
Some cases of tinea capitis can heal on their own. Clinically, tinea capitis is divided into white piedra, black dot tinea, yellow piedra, and kerion. White piedra can heal on its own, usually after puberty. Post-puberty, Malassezia may colonize the scalp and secrete free fatty acids, which have a certain killing effect on white piedra, so it may resolve without treatment. However, if the tinea capitis is yellow piedra, black dot tinea, or kerion, these types cannot heal on their own and may cause permanent hair loss. Therefore, it is crucial to treat these types promptly with antifungal medications under a doctor's guidance and pay attention to personal hygiene.

Symptoms of genital warts in males
The symptoms of genital warts in males primarily appear on the glans, coronal sulcus, frenulum, urinary meatus, and base of the penis. Additionally, in the case of homosexual men, these may appear around the anus and inside the rectum, manifesting as papillary or cauliflower-like growths. The warts are usually white, pink, or soiled gray in color, and their surface is prone to erosion, exudation, and rupture, which can easily bleed upon contact. However, most individuals do not experience noticeable symptoms. Male genital warts are primarily caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Treatments include the use of carbon dioxide laser, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen, or photodynamic therapy. It is also important to avoid unprotected sexual activities.

How long will shingles take to heal?
Shingles, which generally takes two to three weeks to heal, is a skin disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus infection. It usually occurs when the body’s immune system is weakened, manifesting as blisters along the path governed by skin nerves. The blisters are a self-limiting disease and can heal on their own, but some individuals may experience severe symptoms and significant pain, requiring treatment with medication under a doctor's guidance. If the person is young with strong physical health and resistance, recovery typically takes about two weeks. However, for elderly individuals with poorer health, weaker immune systems, and underlying diseases, recovery may take three weeks or longer.

What are the initial symptoms of syphilis?
The initial symptoms of syphilis typically refer to the symptoms of primary and secondary syphilis. The symptoms of primary syphilis mainly include a chancre, usually a single superficial ulcer located at the genital area with a clear border, scant discharge, no pain, and no tenderness. Serological tests would show a positive result for Treponema pallidum. Some patients may also experience local lymph node enlargement. In secondary syphilis, patients often develop papules, macules, and vesicles on the skin, and symmetrical copper-red macules appear on the hands and feet. For the treatment of syphilis infection, penicillin is primarily chosen. If there is an allergy to penicillin, macrolide antibiotics can be used as an alternative. It is crucial to treat syphilis promptly after infection.

Can syphilis patients have children?
Syphilis patients can have children. After regular treatment, syphilis patients can conceive and bear children normally. After being treated for syphilis, the RPR test can become negative, indicating that there are no live syphilis spirochetes in the body and no infectivity. At this point, pregnancy is not affected. Some pregnant women, after treatment, can block mother-to-child transmission and prevent the spread of syphilis, which is a systemic sexually transmitted disease caused by infection with the syphilis spirochete. If a woman infected with syphilis becomes pregnant without undergoing standard syphilis treatment, the syphilis spirochete can infect the fetus through the placenta, leading to fetal disease. Some may experience stillbirth, miscarriage, premature birth, or even the birth of a child with congenital syphilis. Therefore, it is recommended that syphilis patients undergo standard treatment to cure syphilis before becoming pregnant.
