How to care for skin during an allergic reaction
When experiencing skin allergies, it is crucial to identify the allergen. Once the allergen is identified, avoid contact with it. During a skin allergy episode, if the allergy is related to cosmetics, you must immediately cease using all cosmetics and simply wash your skin with lukewarm water. If the allergy is due to pollen, try to limit going outdoors and reduce exposure to pollen. Maintain a light and balanced diet, and consume plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits.

Does shingles require isolation?
After developing herpes zoster, isolation is generally not necessary. This disease is mainly caused by a viral infection of the skin and often related to the patient's low immune resistance. It has very low infectivity, and it is generally unlikely for people with normal immune resistance to be infected. Therefore, isolation is not needed after contracting herpes zoster.

Can third stage syphilis be detected?
Third-stage syphilis can be detected. Syphilis is divided into primary, secondary, and tertiary stages, with the severity progressively increasing from the primary to tertiary stage, making tertiary syphilis a relatively advanced and serious condition. It can be detected by measuring the titers in serum, although the titers in tertiary syphilis may be lower than in the primary and secondary stages, and may sometimes present as negative. However, through the symptoms of tertiary syphilis, particularly some complications affecting the skin, cardiovascular system, bones, joints, and other organs, combined with the titer levels, it can definitely be detected.

Can people with skin allergies take a bath?
Patients with skin allergies can bathe in most cases; however, there is one circumstance under which they should not bathe: if there are ulcers or breaks in the skin. Bathing under these conditions can lead to secondary infections at the sites of ulcers and breaks. Additionally, one should not scratch the areas affected by skin allergies. It is also crucial to avoid washing the affected areas with overly hot water, as this is prohibited. Be sure to rest and eat a light diet regularly.

Foods to avoid with tinea capitis include:
Patients with tinea capitis definitely need to avoid many things in their diet. First and foremost, they must abstain from alcohol as it causes the capillaries to dilate and congest, which can worsen the condition. Secondly, they should avoid foods that are known to trigger outbreaks, such as sea fish, shrimp, and crabs. These foods can cause exacerbation and flare-ups of the skin lesions. Lastly, they should avoid eating overly greasy, overly spicy, and stimulating foods, as well as deep-fried foods, such as onions, garlic, pepper, chili peppers, mustard, and so on.

What is the typical titer for third-stage syphilis?
The titers of tertiary syphilis are generally lower than those of primary and secondary syphilis. Syphilis is divided into three stages. During the primary and secondary stages, the reactivity of the Treponema pallidum is higher, thus the titers are also higher. However, the titers for tertiary syphilis often appear lower or even negative. The level of syphilis titers is not significantly related to the duration of the illness. Interestingly, tertiary syphilis generally occurs when the disease has already progressed for more than two years, which results in lower titers.

Can tinea cruris be cured?
Jock itch is caused by a fungal infection and is very common clinically, with very noticeable itching that significantly affects quality of life. Although jock itch is prone to recurrence and difficult to completely cure, it can be thoroughly treated. After contracting jock itch, it is essential to actively use medications for treatment. Underwear should be scalded with boiling water or sun-dried. With active and regular medication use, jock itch can be completely cured. Dietarily, it is important to eat lightly and avoid spicy, stimulating, and greasy foods.

What vitamins should I take for athlete's foot?
Athlete's foot can cause various symptoms on the hands and feet, including itching, blisters, peeling, and scales, severely affecting the patient's quality of life. It is suggested that vitamins should be supplemented when athlete's foot occurs. First, it is recommended to supplement with Vitamin A and consume foods rich in Vitamin A, such as carrots, spinach, water spinach, enoki mushrooms, apples, pears, etc. Additionally, it is advised to supplement with Vitamin B and consume foods rich in Vitamin B, such as sweet potatoes, oranges, etc. Finally, it is also beneficial to eat foods rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E.

Does molluscum contagiosum spread?
Genital warts, also known as condyloma acuminata, are contagious and highly infectious. Genital warts are a sexually transmitted disease primarily caused by infection with the HPV virus. In the early stages, small papules appear, commonly found around the external genitalia and anus. Over time, these can merge and enlarge, forming cauliflower-like growths or hyperplasias, which may bleed or exude due to friction or rubbing. Once diagnosed with genital warts, it is crucial to receive early, scientific, and standardized treatment to avoid severe impact on the patient's physical and mental health.

What department should I go to for erysipelas?
Patients with erysipelas can consult the surgical department, because the predisposing factors before the onset of erysipelas may include external otitis, surgical wounds, skin infections, etc. Moreover, after the onset of erysipelas, it may cause persistent hard edema, which necessitates surgical intervention. Secondly, patients can also see the department of infectious diseases, as erysipelas is an infectious disease. Lastly, patients with erysipelas can consult the dermatology department, because erysipelas is an infectious skin disease that belongs to lymphangitis.
