Physical methods to relieve headaches from a cold
There are many physical methods to alleviate headaches due to the common cold. First, it is important to maintain a suitable indoor temperature and humidity, with temperature controlled between 20-30 degrees Celsius and humidity between 50%-60%. Attention should also be paid to diet; it is beneficial to eat more tomatoes, carrots, mung bean sprouts, kiwis, apples, and other foods rich in Vitamin C. Additionally, measuring body temperature and drinking plenty of water is recommended. Massaging the temples can help relieve headache symptoms. If fever is present, a cool towel or ice pack can be applied to the forehead to physically reduce the fever. Once the body temperature returns to normal, the headache symptoms will gradually ease.
