Symptoms of mild appendicitis
Patients with mild appendicitis may experience migratory right lower abdominal pain, initially presenting as pain in the upper middle abdomen, followed by a shift to pain in the right lower abdomen. Symptoms may also include chills, fever, nausea, vomiting, and others. The pain in the right lower abdomen is relatively fixed and does not present as migratory. It may also be accompanied by diarrhea and vomiting. Once mild appendicitis is diagnosed, it is crucial to promptly perform a complete blood count and abdominal imaging studies, such as color Doppler ultrasound and CT scans, and to undertake surgical treatment as soon as possible. Additionally, active anti-infection treatment is necessary to fully cure appendicitis.
